Scene begins with Swamini Bua giving an important file to be given to Viraat’s dadaji in the office. Viraat agrees to go and give it after he has given juice to Maanvi. Maanvi is feeling very upset and heavy in her heart after deciding not to tell Viraat about her own feelings. She decides to talk to her grandmother back in Hrishikesh and tries to speak on her mobile. There is no balance left; hence she picks up the landline phone. She overhears a conversation between

Swamini and Dadaji and is shocked to hear the talk about herself and Viraat. Swamini does not like it when Viraat appears too engrossed in Maanvi, she rings up her father to talk to the upcoming storm in their household. She tells him that she could see the black clouds gathering in the sky. She is worried that when Viraat gets married in the future, his wife would not like the closeness between Viraat and Maanvi, he is spoiling his future, and thinking solely about her! Dadaji tells Swamini to talk to Viren about this matter! Dadaji tells her that the file had still not reached the office!

Maanvi is upset on hearing this, she resolves to push Viraat out of her life, she decides that the best way to do this is to be rude to Viraat and tell him that she did not like his concern for her; it looked like pity to her. Maanvi waits for Viraat to come home, he takes her outside to show her a surprise. He has bought a bike for her, she wanted to ride a bike as her first wish on her wish list! He is doing all that she wanted to do in this life! She is thrilled on seeing the bike, but then remembers that she was supposed to make Viraat hate her and go away from her! She walks away back inside. Buaji asks Viraat about the file, Viraat apologises for the delay and goes to give it to Dadaji.

Maanvi starts to act on her idea and starts snubbing Viraat every step of the way. She thinks in her mind that she could not see him going towards the precipice of his life; she does not want him to spoil his future to save her present! She wants him to forget her completely; she wants to end their partnership of friendship! Viraat goes away from her wondering about her behavior, he is mighty upset about it. Hearing those cutting words from Maanvi makes Viraat very upset.

Jeevika sees Maanvi behaving like a virago and questions her about it. Maanvi confesses to Jeevika about hearing the conversation between Buaji and Dadaji and tells her that she was doing the act on purpose; she does not want Viraat to spoil his future to stay back and help her. She is very upset about all this but she has decided to make Viraat hate her! Jeevika realizes that her younger sister has grown up, has matured beyond belief and tells her that from then on, she would not worry about her so much nor question her. Jeevika is proud of her sister and her thoughts, both the sisters share a much needed hug!

Viren meets Viraat after he returns from office and hears about a new song recording offer for Viraat, he advices him to start working. Viraat tells him about Maanvi’s strange behavior since morning. She had been ignoring him! He has analyzed that it feels like she is pushing him away purposely from her life! Smart Viraat! Viren tells him that he should pay attention to his career; Maanvi too would like him to concentrate on his future. She would also be happy if Viraat woud go for that song recording, the rest would sort out easily.

Viraat corners Maanvi in the garden and asks her the reason for her strange behavior. She tries to go away, but he stops her. He tells her that he has realized that it was just to push him away from his life, just like they showed in the TV serials. Maanvi is surprised that he had already caught on her idea. Viraat tells her that he would not leave her; he would never go away from his life. Viraat tells her that she could continue to shout at him, berate him and turns to go away. Maanvi agrees that it was her idea, but she hurt when she tried to hurt him. She tells him that he had to promise to concentrate on his future, his singing.

He agrees that he would do as she wanted; he immediately rings up the recording company and fixes his song recording for the next day. He tells her that she must never try to remove him from her life, even in her dreams! She tells him that seeing his success in life, she would forget her illness! He wants her to go to the recording studio the next day; he says that her presence would bring the right tune to his song!
