The recent episodes showed the flirtatious side of ASR which was unleashed by the love he felt for Khushi. A man who believed that MUJHE KISI LADKI SE KOI FARAK NAHI PADTA HAI, suddenly found himself ruled by a slip of a girl, who defied him every step of the way. He starts listening to whole conversations if he is behind a door, he has learnt a lesson after walking away from the terrace conversation between Shyam and Khushi. He has understood what Khushi wants, his money, power, or status has no impact on her, she is only happy with the simpler things in life!

Khushi, the girl who was always upset by the actions of the Laad Governor suddenly found herself searching for him and thinking of him.

POINT TO BE NOTED -

The raksha dhaaga tied to Arnav by Buaji is God’s protection against trouble, but Anjali has not yet tied the raksha dhaaga given to her by Khushi, she is now out of God’s protection circle. She has avoids going to temples, uses temples as an excuse to go and meet her husband, she is going away from God while Arnav is slowly moving towards God.

THE SHADOWS SEEN IN RM:

1) FIRST SEEN BY US WHEN Anjali goes away with Khushi and the shadow moves away from the tree. Whose shadow was it? It was Shyam as Anjali remembers it all in her flashback during her tea party with Skunky.

2) FIRST SEEN BY KHUSHI WHEN the entire family has gone to the temple and Arnav had left for Agra for his business meeting. Khushi sees the shadow on the poolside wall but then Arnav has entered by the main door. Whose shadow was it on the poolside wall when Khushi had become terrorized? Did Shyam come there at that time?

3) FIRST SEEN BY ARNAV WHEN he was on talking on the phone and sees a shadow outside his room near the poolside. He rushes out to check and sees his Di there but he is still suspicious and turns for a final look. Anjali clarifies our doubt and reveals that she was indeed talking to Shyam at that time.

4) AGAIN SEEN BY ARNAV WHEN he is on his way to Khushi’s house at night , he sees the shadow in the main hall. He ignores it as he was completely focussed on saying a SORRY to Khushi for all his actions.

5) AGAIN SEEN BY KHUSHI WHEN Arnav attempts to kiss her by the poolside after listening to her adding Singh Raizada to her name after the Roka ceremony. Khushi pushes him away and takes him back to the festivities but does not voice her fears. Arnav looks behind whle being led away by Khushi! He had sensed her fear!

6) ARNAV LOOKS AROUND in Anjali’s room when he goes there to get the medicine bottle. On entering the room, he looks around and while exiting from the room too he looked around for a moment. Did he feel someone’s presence?

WHEN WILL THEY REALIZE THE MEANING OF THE SHADOWS AND CONNECT THEM TO SHYAM? WILL IT BE NK WHO WILL REALIZE THAT THERE IS AN EXTRA MEMBER IN THE HOUSE?

THE THREE NEGATIVES –

ANJALI – How did Anjali know that Chhotte had gone out in the night to visit his wife? She was waiting to tease him but who told her that he was missing from RM? It was obvious that she was told by Shyam but did it make her realize that he is keeping tabs on everyone in her family? She appears genuinely happy for Chhotte and is looking at Khushi with love in her eyes, but is it an act? Is she putting up the act for her brother or for her husband? Is she a double agent out to prove Shyam innocent or to catch him in his evil designs?

She is on a one track mind now, obsessively in love with a cheating husband, she is only thinking of herself and her baby! She has not stopped to think about her Chotte, how shattered he will be on hearing about her treachery! She was very upset because she had felt that Chotte was lying to her and meeting his wife, but she herself has been lying to him and the entire family every step of the way and meeting her cheating husband, even inviting him for a tea session at her brother’s home! She has forgotten Mami’s words that Shyam had agreed to divorce her! She wants Shyam back in her home, she has completely forgotten that this was not her home, it was her brother and his wife’s home!

SHYAM – When did Shyam enter the RM grounds again and who let him in? Or did he never leave? Arnav had just chucked him out of the main door, did Shyam slink back into the store room or basement? He has set up a survilleance unit in his room with CCTVs , can he also hear the words being said? Why is he smiling so evilly and looking so satisfied? It has become clear that Dadi and Anjali are aligned with him. He is making all the plans to hurt somone but who is it in his mind? He entered RM before Godh bharai as an electrician and fixed up some wires. He was on hand to remove the camera before NK and Arnav could catch up! He is able to roam around freely and go to Rani saheba’s room and hide a box under the bed.

On Godh bharai day, he enters again by dressing up as a Dhol player for the celebrations. He is again able to go up to his wife’s room, put on the gloves and spread glass pieces on the rug near the door. How will it help him to enter RM officially? If Anjali is hurt, she will cry out for him like a baby cries out for a comforting toy! Arnav will be forced to get him back. If anyone else is hurt including Khushi, he does not stand any chance! He has also fixed up some wires, does he intend for a short circuit fire or darkness in the midst of which he wants to harm some one? He is desperately trying to reenter RM now, he will soon know that Anjali’s credit card will be cancelled by Arnav.

DADI – How did Dadi know the address of Buaji’s house? How did Dadi reach the terrace at the right time? How did Dadi know the address of Raizada House when she was unaware of the name change from Arnav Malik to Arnav Singh Raizada and she had not been in contact with the family for fourteen years? How did Dadi know the Gupta House telephone number in order to call Buaji home? These were questions that were in our minds till it was revealed that Shyam had brought Dadi into the picture. Everything now becomes clear regarding Dadi and her aversion to Khushi. She is hell bent on getting Damaadji to the house but does not realize that the entire family was a witness to Shyam’s cheating, she only has to listen to the others. She has started on the wrong foot with her stubborn grandson, Arnav.

It is gratifying to see Arnav landing up at the right time whenever Dadi starts talking to someone! He is asserting that he is the decision maker of the house, he is not letting Dadi get the upper hand after abandoning them for fourteen years! Bravo Arnav!!

ARNAV -

The arrogant hot headed business tycoon who was ruthless in business dealings and harsh with everyone other than his family, the hotwa who BLEW HOT AND COLD in his attitude has changed a great deal now. He was the one who grew from a sensitive, loving, mischievous fifteen-year old boy into a man overnight. He was the one who supported his sister who was shattered by the twin tragedies of life, first of losing parents and then facing rejection from society after a wedding baraat left brideless, from her doorstep! Arnav toughened himself from within, mentally fortressing his heart with walls to ride roughshod on all in the pursuit of fame and wealth as he had realized that society was harsh even if it is the family itself!

Being cast out of their family home, nay palace, Sheesh Mahal, by his own uncle, and being abandoned by his paternal grandmother, his Dadi who could have stopped his uncle from throwing them out, made him realize that blood ties DO NOT matter!

It was the comforting haven provided by Nani and Mami which brought the siblings a solace denied to them from their father's side! Is it a wonder that he forsook his father's name and took his mother's name? He might have also done so to hide from the media glare which must have accompanied them due to the past notorious secret which now threatens to spill out of the cupboard! He has grown up to be a righteous man who hurt himself if he caused grief knowingly to someone! He tried to hurt Khushi in a bid to keep her away from the barbed walls of his heart, he did not want her to break down the barriers and enter his heart and soul, but could not keep at it! He hurt in his mind and heart everytime he was harsh to her, the agony was palpable in his eyes! Today as he attempts to build the home of HER DREAMS, he is adamant to do everything possible to MAKE HER HAPPY! He knows that he had been wrong on all counts, his grief and regret is GENUINE AND IMMENSE, he is UNABLE TO KEEP AWAY FROM HER!

It is ironical that the sister for whom he destroyed Khushi's life, is now the one who is betraying him. Arnav is not letting his RUNAWAY DADI to takeover the reins of his life after fourteen years. He is the only one who stands against her as she attempts to bring back Shyam, the day is not far when Arnav will ANNOUNCE TO DADI THAT SHE HAD NO RIGHT TO SPEAK AND INTERFERE NOW, AFTER ABANDONING THEM! HE WILL REMIND HER THAT IT WAS HIS HOME AND NOT SHYAM, ANJALI WILL GET A JOLT AND REALIZE THAT SHE HAD INDEED FORGOTTEN THAT FACT! Arnav will be the one who will be shattered by his Di's betrayal, but luckily he has Khushi now to cushion the blow.

But will the past destroy their fragile and tumultous love? Will Arnav who has a volatile temper once again say words TO KHUSHI which might be regretted intensely AN INSTANT LATER? Arnav will do everything possible to expose Shyam but it is possible that his sister will not escape the fire unscathed.

KHUSHI-

The Lucknowi girl who did not have the luck to escape her home town without a stain to her honor, now is the damsel ruling over the arrogant and mighty ASR's heart ! She is now completely in his heart, mind and soul! was the one who stood against him, time and again and dented the hard walls of his heart! Although bruised time and again by his harsh words and actions, Khushi found herself drawn towards him, and she fell in love with him, unconditionally! She tried to go away by getting herself engaged to another man, but it was the wrong choice, again connected to him.

Fate decreed that they could never part from each other, circumstances brought them together time and again. Devi Maiyya had decided that the soft hearted girl who capture the tough hearted hunk, who now cannot breathe without her! SAANSE RUK JAYEGI AGAR USSE DOOR HO JAYENGE is the way both feel as they complete all the wedding rasams now! Khushi knows that Arnav is doing everything that she wanted because he was deeply in love with her! Arnav does not want Khushi to change for him because he is very secure in his love, he loves her as she was, the adoration in his eyes is evident as he worships her with his heart!

Although they have undergone several hardships, today they are united in the face of society. Khushi is Arnav's saarthi ( like Krishna was to Arjun) in his battle against Shyam! She guides him as he goes through the journey of life! He has changed due to her, he now thinks before his actions, the temper and anger is now kept under control most of the times. Hopefully they will remain united in the face of the revelation of the past, a past which includes a secret of Khushi's mother, Garima and her own parents' involvement with Arnav's parents! IT IS ALSO POSSIBLE THAT THEY MAY DECIDE TO SEPARATE FOR A PERIOD OF TIME IN ORDER TO BRING ABOUT A PERMANENT SOLUTION TO SKUNKY'S DEVIOUSNESS, AND TO SHOW HIS TRUE FACE TO ANJALI AND DADI!

NK-

The cousin bhai as he was introduced months ago by Arnav to Khushi is the glue that binds the Raizada family together. He comes to RM for Akash, his cousin's shaadi all the way from Australia with his impeccable English and cute Hindi, the expressions bring a chuckle to everyone! His innocent and naughty ways bring a sense of relief and humor to the sombre Raizadas who have been very staid till NK's entry! He hits off with Khushi from day one, it causes a jealousy in Arnav's heart when he realizes that NK was the type of guy who could rule over Khushi's heart! NK too almost falls for Khushi's gamine charm but realizes early on that Khushi and Arnav were attracted to each other and steps back gracefully. He notices the attraction first when the dance teacher asks NK and Khushi to dance together. Subsequently we see NK getting attracted to Khushi when it was the day Khushi dropped some bangles and bends down to pick them up. Arnav notices NK looking at Khushi's back and pulls her band to release her hair and covers it up! NK is instrumental in making Arnav realise the depth of his love for Khushi. NK has turned out to be a good friend who sensed that something was wrong when Nanav went missing.

He forces Khushi to confide in him, Khushi takes his help to unmask Shyam in his nefarious deeds. NK helps Khushi in her quest to find Arnav after his kidnapping. NK is overjoyed to see Arnav after he returns home, he is the only one who hugs him. Today, Arnav depends solely on NK when he had to manaofy Khushi, he takes the guidance of NK, his love Guru! NK is also the one who looks at all things with a child-like curiosity and enthusiasm and uncovers evidences like the hidden wire! He brings it to the attention of Arnav, it is clear that NK will play a bigger role than before in unmasking Shyam's deceit! Will he be the one who discovers a piece of glass on Anjali's doormat?

He has already promised Khushi that he will stand by her in times of need! We can see a future where Khushi might need his help when the past is revealed and old wounds burst open! NK might act as a mediator or buffer for both Khushi and Arnav as they battle the demons of their combined past! Technically he is not of their family, he is the nephew of Mamiji but he is the only one who is the outsider and so can see both sides without bias!

THE HELPING HANDS –

AKASH –

Finally Akash has realized the importance of Khushi in his Bhai’s life and also accepted that Khushi was right in her accusations against Shyam. Arnav had told Akash to take care of Khushi when he had been kidnapped although Akash did not realize it at that time! He had always felt that Khushiji did everything with a reason, but when it came to his sister Anjali’s happiness and family, Akash could not accept the fact that Khushi was blameless. He accepted Arnav’s words as the gospel truth, if Bhai felt that Shyam was a cheat, then okay, he was, but Khushi ? Akash could not look her in the eye and accept the fact that Khushi was telling the truth. It took him time to understand and accept the realities of life! The spillover of the truth being unleashed took its toll on both Payal and Khushi. Akash was also actively brainwashed by his mother who hated both the Gupta sisters from the beginning.

Akash started ignoring Payal and Khushi but as he told Payal later, he thought over it and realized that he was wrong and wanted to start afresh. He then started talking normally to Khushi and romantically to Payal. Today, he stands by his Bhai’s side for the ceremonies. He is ready to pull his brother’s leg after seeing Arnav participating in all the activities. He stands by Buaji against Dadi when she is interrogated by Dadi about Garima’s absence. I really loved the way Akash took Buaji away to dance during the roka. He does not bother to call Dadi. He is a tad disappointed by the fact that he had to miss his mehendi day and was forced to wear a sari to attend the ladies function, but then says EVERYBODY LOVES BHAI! when Nani allows the guys to attend KHUSHI’s mehendi function. EVERYONE KNEW THAT THEY COULD NOT KEEP ARNAV AWAY FROM KHUSHI ON HER MEHENDI FUNCTION!

Akash will stand by Arnav in the fight against Skunky, but it is possible that until presented with hard evidence Akash might lend his support to Anjali OR AKASH WILL BE THE ONE WHO WILL SEARCH FOR THE EVIDENCE ALONG WITH NK IN ORDER TO PROVE SHYAM’S DUPLICITY TO ANJALI AND DADI! AKASH IS ALREADY SHOWING THAT HE DOES NOT LIKE DADI’S INTERFERENCE IN THE FAMILY MATTERS! THE WAY HE TOOK BUAJI AWAY DURING THE DANCE PROVES IT!

PAYAL –

She is the only one at present in RM who knows the cunningness of Shyam. She knows how Shyam had fooled everyone at Gupta House and got engaged to Khushi. But she is unaware of the part Shyam had played in making her father a paralysed man! She forgot to look after Khushi, her baby sister when Khushi came to RM, suddenly married and without a hint as to the reason! She tried to mould herself into the Raizada family, under deep stress, being regularly taunted by her mother-in-law! But the moment, Khushi found herself in deep trouble and Payal heard Shyam maligning her character, the older sister within came alive! She revealed the truth behind the engagement in front of the family, Arnav believed every word so did Akash, but Akash was not able to accept the fact that Payal had hidden the secret for so long! She is now the one who will lend a helping hand in their battle against Skunky.

She proved that she was alert to the family needs when she opens the door of Shantivan with her spare key. She proves that she was quick to see the discrepancy in Anjali’s words that she did not like the taste of the first cup of tea and so made another one! Payal notices that both the tea cups were empty, and tries to bring it to the notice of the family, but nautanki Anjali realises that Payal was smart and she pretends to be unwell. Payal will be one of the four musketeers in Arnav’s campaign against Skunky.

NANIJI -

Nani was shattered on knowing the truth behind Shyam’s face! She had never thought so in her wildest dreams! But she has immense faith in Arnav and Khushi! She knows that they would never do anything wrong or against the family. Nani has immense faith in her upbringing of Arnav, unfortunately her grand daughter Anjali has now gone astray! Nani does not know that Anjali is now being influenced by her samdhan and friend, Subhadra Malik, who was encouraging Anjali to meet Shyam. It is high time Nani told the whole story of Shyam’s infidelity to Dadi! It is high time she let Arnav do the talking, instead of getting worried about the society and the gossips!

Nani loves Arnav even more than her own son’s son, Akash, not because Arnav is her daughter’s son but more so because Arnav and Anjali were motherless children! Nani and her daughter-in-law, Manorama have brought up the three children together, inculcating the right values in them. Nani knows the depth of Arnav’s love for Khushi, she also knows how much Khushi had sacrificed for the sake of the family! Nani sides with Arnav most of the times, but then since Arnav is very strong she does not interfere much between Dadi and grandson. Whenever Dadi taunts Khushi, Nani sides with Khushi and extends her whole hearted support which is not liked by Dadi. Nani knew that it was impossible to keep Arnav away from Khushi during the mehendi function, so she graciously allows the boys to attend the ladies’ function. Nani will stand by Khushi and Arnav in the battle looming on the horizon.

BUAJI –

She is the inferno which will be released the day she comes to know how her two daughters have been treated in that house. She is unaware of the fact that Shyam has been kicked out by Arnav. She is the one who will tell the entire truth to Arnav, not that he needs it anymore! But she will be the one who will blister Mamiji’s ears with a barrage of words to make her atone for the past. Buaji is the only one who is equal to Arnav in terms of mental strength, she will stand by Arnav and Khushi and do everything possible to unmask Skunky.

She is also the sister of Shashiji who appreciates the sacrifices made by Garima for her brother. She also appreciates the sacrifices and hardships faced by Khushi at such a young age! Buaji is the hurricane which will blow over Shyam, remember her pulling Shyam by the collar when she had discovered him peeking into her house from outside the window when Khushi was rehearsing for her dance before Payash’s sangeet? Yes, Buaji is like a bulldozer which will help Arnav and Khushi to raze Shyam to the ground!

MAMIJI –

Mamiji was the mother to all the three children, having loved them equally. She does not give any evidence of having

loved Akash more than Arnav or Anjali. Hats off to the woman who brought up two orphans as her own. Brash in her words and actions, she hides a loving heart, she demonstrates it when some friends gossip about Anjali and she shuts them up! She again demonstrates her love for Arnav when she gets ready to sacrifice the love of her life, her gold, twice! The first time when Arnav needed the capital to set up his business and the second time when Arnav is kidnapped and she thinks that a ransom would be demanded.

She had seen Arnav during his kidnap and so she had joined forces with Khushi while investigating, but was sidelined by Khushi after her leg injury. This made Mami angry. She sided with Anjali against Khushi after hearing the conversation where in Khushi asked Shyam to divorce Anjali. She has also heard Shyam agreeing to do so and so she will be in the forefront if Shyam comes back to RM and keep an eagle eye on Shyam. She wants the happiness of Arnav and Anjali but she is like a battleaxe,with a sharp tongue. She will join hands with the others once she is convinced of Shyam’s deceit with some evidence.

SUSPENSE FACTOR (THE UNKNOWN) –

GARIMA -

What is scaring Khushi’s mother? She is petrified of meeting Dadi. She escaped from the Shagun ceremony. She comes back after all have left. She gets upset on hearing about the scheduled Roka for the next day! She escapes it with the help of Akash! The weird behavior of Garima is arousing some doubts in Buaji and Khushi’s minds! She decided to escape from the functions by going away to Lucknow with Shashiji for a medical camp but DM ordained otherwise. Then she decided to bell the cat and face Dadi, she was ready to apologize for her past actions for the sake of her daughters’ futures but again DM ordained otherwise! She was unable to meet Dadi twice during the God bharai ceremony. She goes in search of Dadi to talk to her privately but overhears the conversation between Arnav, Nani and Dadi, and then decides to keep quiet again!

What is it that makes her so scared of that Hitler? Will the revealing of this secret cause trouble for Khushi and Payal at RM? How long does Garima think she can play hide-n-seek with Dadi? Like Buaji had told Garima, Dadi would search her out from hell too!

THE TRUMP CARD –

SHASHIJI –

The only person who is aware of Shyam’s murderous intentions. He is the one who has been lucky to survive but rendered paralysed and speechless. The day he recovers his faculties and mobility completely will be Shyam’s last day because Arnav will accept his father-in-law’s word as the Gospel Truth and Anjali too will be forced to do so and distrust Shyam. She might need proof with her own eyes but there will be the seed of doubt planted in her mind after Shashiji’s revelations.

Shashiji is also the only one who has stood by Garima and knows her past. He will stand by her and also corroborate the past when the secret is revealed by Dadi. He is the only one who knows all the sacrifices that Garima has gone through in order to bring up Payal, his first wife’s daughter and Khushi, her sister’s daughter as her own.

SHATIR DIMAAG KAUN? SHYAM OR ARNAV?

SHYAM SEEMS TO BE HOLDING THE TITLE OF SHATIR DIMAAG AT PRESENT AFTER SNEAKILY HAVING TAKEN AWAY THE TITLE FROM ARNAV, WHO IS AT PRESENT DREAMING IN KHUSHILAND!

THE CCTVS IN THE AIRPORT AND THE REVELATION THAT NK HAD FIXED A CAMERA IN HIS OWN ROOM SEEMS TO HAVE INFLUENCED SHYAM GREATLY AND HE HAS INSTALLED THOSE CAMERAS AT STRATEGIC LOCATIONS AROUND RM. ANJALI SEEMS TO BE AWARE OF AT LEAST ONE OF THEM, SHE WAS SEEN TALKING TO A TREE EARLIER ONE NIGHT WHILE MAMI WAS SHOCKED TO SEE HER TALKING TO THE AIR. SUBSEQUENTLY WE HAVE SEEN THAT A CAMERA IS FIXED ON THE TREE.

ALSO SHYAM IS FINANCING THE EXPENSES FROM ASR’S MONEY TAKEN THROUGH ANJALI’S CREDIT CARD, ALTHOUGH ANJALI APPEARED TO BE SURPRISED AND LATER UPSET BY THE LOSS OF HER CARD. BUT WE DO NOT KNOW IF ANJALI WAS PRETENDING TO BE UPSET HAVING GIVEN THE CARD TO SHYAM OR WAS GENUINELY UPSET ON THE LOSS! HE HAS BEEN ABLE TO ENTER RM AT WILL, ROAM AT WILL, HAVE A TEA PARTY WITH DUMB WIFE WHEN THE CAT WAS AWAY! HE ENTERS AS AN ELECTRICIAN AND FIXES SOME WIRES, HE CLIMBS UP A LADDER TO REMOVE A CAMERA UNDER THE RAIZADA NOSES! HE IS ABLE TO KEEP A GIFT FOR HIS RAJKUMARI NEAR ANJALI WHEN SHE IS SEATED ON THE SOFA, THE HOUSE IS TEEMING WITH FAMILY AND GUESTS, BUT HE IS NOT THE LEAST SCARED, I GUESS BECAUSE HE KNOWS HOW DUMB THE RAIZADIANS ARE!

ARNAV HAS FORGOTTEN THE EXISTENCE OF SHYAM AFTER THROWING HIM OUT OF RM! ARNAV SHOULD HAVE CHECKED OUT THE DETAILS ON THE CAMERA EQUIPMENT HE NOTICED IN ANJALI’S CARD STATEMENT OR EVEN CANCELLED THE CREDIT CARD ON THE SPOT, HE SHOULD HAVE APPOINTED MORE SECURITY MEN FOR SUCH AN INPORTANT FUNCTION..

ARNAV SHOULD HAVE BEEN THE ONE KEEPING TABS ON SHYAM AFTER BEING KIDNAPPED, ALMOST LOST KHUSHI AND AFTER SEEING HOW HIS DI WAS BETRAYED BY SHYAM. BUT ON THE CONTRARY, SHYAM IS KEEPING TABS ON ARNAV AND KHUSHI , SO SHATIR DIMAAG KAUN?

I didn't know that Shyam was responsible for Shashi's paralytic state. I watched the episodes where he used to withhold her meds or push some other meds into his mouth. Will see if I have the time to fast forward the earlier episodes. U know as much as we hate Shyam or Skunky as he is called - I do give him credit for his acting prowess - i mean he is able to incite so much hate fr us.
